Chris Cook is one of 0.000006 people in the world – he’s an Olympian! Now 29, he knew ten years ago that he wanted to be ‘world class’ and has focused all his mental, physical and financial resources on doing just that – not once, but twice and with a handful of gold, silver and bronze medals from the World Championships to boot!

Chris Cook is taking part in this event to support this event to help local student, Lucy Davison raise funds for her forthcoming World Challenge, which will see Lucy take part in a four week expedition culminating in her climbing the highest point in Central America, the active volcano called Volcan Tajumulco. During her World Challenge, Lucy will focus on community work in the local Mayan community. Chris understands what Lucy's challenge is all about and appreciates the pressures of training and preparing for such a personal and physical test!
